Summary
“The only way is up” is a clichéd expression often bandied about when describing sporting teams. A disappointing eighth place in the South Division in the 2014 Natwest t20 Blast for Gloucestershire means this particular cliché will ring true for the upcoming edition.

The South Division table, Natwest t20 Blast 2014 |
2014 saw
a real mixture of results and performances, as can be with the t20 format, but
new Head Coach Richard Dawson will be looking to bring consistency to the side
this year after Gloucestershire recorded five wins and seven defeats last
season.
A busy
opening schedule sees Gloucestershire play eight times in five weeks, opening up
against Middlesex at the County Ground on 15th May. Middlesex were
the sole side to finish below Gloucestershire last year, ending with just five
points following 11 defeats and just two wins.

I spoke to Gloucestershire all-rounder Benny Howell at the club's media day on 10th April, 2015. Here he discusses:
- the upcoming t20
season,
- the new arrivals and
departures
- the ECB
- the experience of playing
overseas
- what happens when he loses a
game of FIFA
- and more.
The track
underneath is Duke Dumont - I Got U, which was nominated by the club for
the Natwest t20 Blast Summer Anthem playlist in 2014.
